BASF Coatings, Inc. has received an award from Nissan Motors Philippines, Inc. (NMPI) as a QCD Top Performer for 2005 in recognition of BASF’s exemplary performance in quality, delivery and cost and continuous support.
BASF has been a supplier of paint to NMPI since they started operations in September 1983. BASF has a market share of 90% on topcoats and clear coat. “As part of our commitment to better serve NMPI, BASF has assigned a dedicated technical service person on site,” said Marcelino M. Quismundo, president of BASF Coatings Inc. “The main task of the technical service person is to monitor the use of BASF paints in the paint shop giving solutions and helping them in the improvement of their processes that leads to cost reduction.”
